The Public Records Office [PRO] at Kew holds lists for 1905, 1910, 1920, 1935, 1950 and 1955 in Class BT 163.
Each List is of ships on the port register for that year and includes the following information:-
Year of Registry and port Number, Ships Official Number, Ships Name, Gross Tonnage (Sail), Net Tonnage (Sail), Gross Tonnage (Steam), Net Tonnage (Steam)
Rigs:
For the purposes of clarity abreviations for rigs, such as "Dy" for Dandy have been replaced with the full name. Click HERE for a key to rig abreviations.

These Lists have two main sections, Steam and Sail, with details available as follows:
Steam: Official Number, Name of Ship, International Code Signal (if Any), Port and year of registry, Where Built, When Built, Whether Iron, Wood, Steel or composite, Length, Breadth, Depth of hold, Net Tonnage, Gross tonnage, Horsepower of engines and description of propellor, Owner or part owner and manager (if recorded).
Sail: Official Number, Name of ship and port of registry, Rig, Where Built, When Built, International Code Signal (if any), Registered Tonnage, Owner or part owner and manager.
