Norwich Flood 1912
The top two photos were taken from near St. Margaret's Plain, Westwick Street, looking towards the Balloon Tavern, with its arcaded ground floor.   Just beyond that, on opposite sides of the street are, to the right, the Drum, and to the left, the Colchester Arms.   For comparison purposes, the crowded shopfront is shown again, in the lower "dry" 1936 photo where it has lost its "Lyons Tea" and acquired the lettering "A. Augood".
